Get your Gift Closet set up! ideas for the holidays from savingsinseconds.com #affiliate
It’s always good to have an extra gift or two waiting in the ranks. If you have a “gift closet” or something similar, you have an emergency reserve to pull from in a pinch. Sometimes money is tight right around an important birthday, or you might receive an unexpected gift from a neighbor and feel obligated to reciprocate. I like to find gifts of affordable price ranges to keep stashed in the closet for moments like this. When you get those great BOGO offers at the department store, go ahead and take the freebie. When Amazon offers you that super-deal add-on item, go ahead and add it to your cart. Just tuck it in that gift closet!

Stella & Dot has a good thing going with Dot Dollars. Simply put, you can earn bonus money toward a future purchase (ends 12/15). So here’s the idea….purchase from Stella & Dot’s holiday selection for your gift giving, then use those Dot Dollars to start your gift closet! By the time the next birthday or holiday comes along, you will have a gift selection right in your own home. Wouldn’t it be nice to go shopping in your closet?

Here are some of my favorites from Stella & Dot.

Elephant pouf #affiliate

Elephant pouf $24 — I love the purple and red together.

On the Mark necklace $49 – has a fun vibe

Breton stripe handbag #affiliate

Petite Skinny Breton Stripe bag, $89 – I love the way this looks small, but packs a big punch.

Would any of these gifts be welcome to someone on your list?  How would you spend the resulting Dot Dollars to fill your Gift Closet?

I have learned to do the add-on thing at Amazon. It never fails by the time I think of something else to buy, I’ve forgotten the add-on. It’s nice to have certain items being “held” for you for when you want to buy.
    Cute and very unique accessories!
