Upon my college graduation, one of my friends gave me the book “Oh, The Places You’ll Go.” It might sound silly to receive a children’s book on such an academic occasion, but it was a great reminder of where I’d been….and where I’d be. I like how the book features true stories to really bring home how important we all are.

My daughter is still really young, but I encourage her to make a difference by putting others before yourself. We do a lot of different outreaches, so I hope we are also leading by example to make a difference in our community.
My children have made their impacts on me by their insight into people around them. They have a good judgement sense.

Atlantic Quest would be nice to have when my grandkids come to visit. I have a DS they could play it on.
It’s great that there are movies and books featuring kids and the things they can do. This really gets the conversation with your own children started on what they can do.

I tell them to follow their hearts and dreams no matter where they lead. They will find their purpose in life and it could make for a better society if we all did that.
