We’ve all been in that rush just before a party or gathering. After hours preparing food, packing bags, and getting the kids ready it’s time to leave. Just before walking out of the house, you realize that we haven’t even looked in the mirror to see what YOU look like. You dash to the bathroom to smear on some blush or drag a comb through your hair, wishing you had time to spruce up just a bit more. With the KISS InstaWave in your arsenal, it’s a matter of minutes to go from straight to curly!
Normally when I see gadgets like this at ULTA (or a similar store) I wonder if it’s worth the money. Rarely do I buy a product like the InstaWave before checking out the reviews. If you’re the same way, rest assured that the InstaWave was thoroughly implemented in less than 5 minutes. That’s right, I actually set the timer. I even had enough time left to throw on a chunky sweater before walking out of the house!
The InstaWave works with the touch of a button. It’s easy to hold, wide-handled yet lightweight, so that even someone who isn’t accustomed to using a curling iron could use this. To get your curls, take a section of your hair and place it on the teeth of the curler. Push the button on the handle; the InstaWave will twist your hair into a curl. You can tighten the curl or leave it loose. To curl toward your face, push the button up. Push down to curl away from your face. Repeat a few times and you’re finished! My only complaint? The InstaWave has a very small area to hold at the top. I burned my fingers twice when I reached up to secure the wand, which is my habit when using a traditional curling iron. I kept forgetting that the InstaWave curls automatically. I definitely wouldn’t let my 10 year old use this to curl her own hair because it was HOT. I used the InstaWave several times this week with great results. Normally I wash my hair daily but I even let it go unwashed one day because the curls held until the next day, looking better than the first!
If you have a beauty guru on your holiday list, I’d highly recommend the KISS InstaWave as a great gift. It’s so easy to create curls and waves with this tool!
I need the Kiss Instawave in my life! I’ve tried for years to get curls, but they always just fall. This looks like it might be the answer!

Ouchie on the fingers but you look great! Love how smooth and defined the curls are. I hope this works as well on my daughters straight hair; it would be much easier and quicker than curlers.

Cool, works well, it is a shame it is so haot but it does make pretty curls and waves, my teenage granddaughter uses her curling iron and I bet she would enjoy this if not so hot to burn ya.

5 minutes and you look like you spent a long time! A great way to get you on your way quick. Hate having to do my hair and this really cuts down on time.

Love the way the curls held up for two days. I don’t like to wash my hair everyday but I need hair styles that will hold and not get frizzy. Looking good!
