Something I’ve never purchased for myself was a skin cleansing system. I’ve seen them on TV and wondered about their effectiveness, but didn’t know if it was worth the splurge in time or money. When Beaute La Royale sent me this 6-piece set, I was curious about how to use it. The kit comes in a handy little bag that’s roomy enough to hold makeup and other personal care items, too.  Batteries are not included; you’ll need 4 AA batteries.

The Beauté La Royale set has excellent reviews on Amazon, so I was really interested in seeing how it would work for me. I tried the system on my face first. It’s gentle enough to use daily, but I’ve only used it once.  The scrub brush rotates around and really gets into my pores, which is the toughest area for me to clean.  With regular use, I think this could decrease my need for those pore strips I’m always buying!  The system is waterproof, so you can also take it into the shower to use on those tough spots like heels and elbows.

This system retails for $79.99, and is selling for just under $35 on Amazon, so it’s still a pretty pricey item.  If it’s something you’ll use on a regular basis, it’s worth the plunge.  Since it’s close to Mother’s Day, I think this would make a really nice gift for that mom who wants to keep her skin looking young and supple–especially if she wouldn’t normally purchase it for herself!  To enter to win this set, head down to the giveaway form below.
