Making the move to middle school is a big transition for kids, and the changes aren’t just academic.  Consequently, middle school teachers recognize that sixth grade might be the first time children are faced with significant time management struggles.   At the school where I teach, organizing and planning ahead is one of the most important habits we help students learn.  We absolutely insist on students keeping a planner of daily assignments, upcoming due dates, and important activities.  With the back to school season upon us, it’s a great time to grab a new AT-A-GLANCE planner!  After all, 2019 will be here before we know it.

2019 planner calendar

The Badge Weekly-Monthly Hardcover Planner comes in a beautiful gray arabesque pattern, gold-embellished edges, wirebound spine, and even a pocket in the front!  This planner is similar to a notebook in size, yet provides a sturdy back for writing on the go.  I especially like the way this has enough space for daily use, yet has a monthly two-page spread for bigger ideas.  This would make a terrific plan book for teachers who don’t need to write too much down.  As with other AT-A-GLANCE products, this planner can be customized with your preferred start month.

If you like the weekly-monthly format but want something on a smaller scale, try the Midnight Rose planner.  This one has similar features, but is approximately half the size!

The front cover is a clear pocket, making it the perfect place to tuck photos or movie tickets.   You’ll appreciate the holiday list and event calendar in the back!

Loving the Midnight Rose design?  Grab the academic monthly calendar.  It runs from July 2018 through June 2019.  Send it to your favorite college student to pretty up the dorm room!

The monthly calendar is light enough to hang from the attached hook.  A pushpin on the bulletin board was up to the task.

Good things come in small packages, right?   After she stuffs in her binder, computer, lunchbox, and other gear, my daughter doesn’t have much room in her backpack for anything else.  Luckily, the 2-year monthly pocket planner doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Want to super size?  Go for BIG with the Badge Desk Pad!  This one will go on my desk at school in 2019.  I love that it has unlined blocks on each date.  Additionally, the desk pad shows the moon cycles (perfect for science teachers!)  My classroom has two desks – one in the front and one in the back – and my plan book always seems to be where I am not standing at that moment.  Having this desk pad will allow me to keep the dates in mind as I sit at the back desk, but keep my lesson plans in the front with my computer.  I love that this is Made in the USA, too!

The little corner edges are ideal for tucking away urgent paper scraps.  It seems that tardy slips and clinic notes are always floating around on my desk.

As you can see, I’m in PLANNER HEAVEN here!  I’ll share the happy goodies with some of my work friends.  We’re all scrambling to keep our heads above water at the beginning of the school year.  A new planner is such a treat, and will help calm the waves!

I adore these lovely AT-A-GLANCE products.  Did you know they also have notebooks, journals, and accessories?   I could peruse this online shop all day!

Since I am now working many more hours as a freelance writer, I do really need to start using a planner. I started to at the first of 2018, but I abandoned it for index cards put on my desk with my daily tasks. I certainly think using a planner is a better way to keep organized! Thanks for the super giveaway opportunity.
