Amazon, how do I love thee?  Let me count the ways!

1.  Amazon codes are among my favorite gifts to send to friends and family. For one thing, it’s so quick and easy to send an (affiliate links) Amazon Gift Card via email. The gift code lands in my friend’s inbox within seconds and she can start shopping! When I get an Amazon gift card, I usually stash it away to save for later….but it doesn’t last long.

2.  That’s because I love my Kindle Reading App and use it all the time to download freebies and inexpensive ebooks.  I have Prime so I can even borrow books each month for free.  The nice thing is….no returning the books!  I’ve spent a pretty penny on library overdue fees, so the ebook thing works for me in that respect.  If you’re more of an audiobook person, you can enjoy a free trial of Audible and Get Two Free Audiobooks.  I downloaded my free books and cancelled without a problem. 
3.  Prime. It’s absolutely amazing. Free 2-day shipping with no minimum was the initial draw for me, but we also take advantage of the movies and TV shows.  Amazon Prime pretty much got me through the Snow Day Marathon.  Prime has saved my tushie on many occasions, including birthday gifting and Christmas presents.  I keep my browser running during the holiday lightning deals!  We’ve also bought many supplies for school, snacks, and toiletries on the cheap.  Cosmetics, clothes, and shoes are often found at bargain prices with FREE shipping. 4.  Getting FREE Prime is even better!  We used to get this free through Amazon Mom, and I loved it so much that we ended up buying it every year afterwards.  When my son was a baby, we wore out the Amazon Mom program.  I don’t think I bought a single diaper in a store for months on end. It was just way too convenient to let Amazon ship them right to my house!! Plus, with the 20% off discount and various coupons, it was just as cost-effective. 4. If you’re a college student, you can join Amazon Student FREE Two-Day Shipping for College Students program.  I seriously don’t know why anyone wouldn’t take advantage of it.  How many college students have too much disposable income?
