If you’re trimming the fat from your budget it often means the bare bones when it comes to spa treatments. I’ve never been the kind of girl to get weekly massages, facials, or anything like that. I do like getting a spa pedicure every few months, though. Realizing that I could save $30 to $40 a pop for an hour’s experience makes it harder to spend that money. Instead, I am trying a new option. Buying products that give me a few moment’s relaxation on a daily basis kind of extends the fun. This month I sampled the Juara Tiare Jasmine Tea Collection. Wow, doesn’t that just sound indulgent? It really is! They sent me the Bali inspired shower gel and roll-on fragrance.
Jasmine is a heavenly scent that reminds me of lush, tropical forests and sunny skies. This can be a very powerful fragrance so I use only a small amount each day. That makes a bottle last a really long time, too! If I use too much, I find that the scent is too heavy for me. I don’t want to smell like a grandma when I head out the door. The scent is very strong in the shower but after that it seems to dissipate. Hours after my shower, I can still smell the scent lingering on my skin but it’s not overwhelming at all. At some point, we may just dilute the shower gel and use it as hand soap so I can enjoy it throughout the day. The formula is sulfate-free and has such an exotic aura. I really love the roll-on fragrance. It’s just enough to give my wrist a tiny bit of scent without being too heavy. Also, I can refresh it as needed because the applicator is small enough to take in my purse. A few years ago my husband bought me a wonderful Coach perfume that came in a similar applicator. Unfortunately something in the perfume irritated my skin and I just couldn’t wear it. Because Juara uses natural ingredients, I don’t have any reactions when I use it. Love, love, love!!
At $28, the shower gel is quite pricey for something that seems so normal, but if you’re putting together a really special pampering gift basket this would be perfect. The $28 price tag on the perfume oil doesn’t seem bad at all. I would love to give this as a gift to my girlfriends who deserve something special! Do you splurge on products like this?

Good idea on buying decadent products for you. We all need and deserve some time and pampering but can’t go the expensive route. Time and money play a huge part of stress and what we can do. Home versions are a great alternative to going to a spa.
