In case you haven’t been to the store in a few days — Father’s Day is Sunday. For some reason, dads tend to get the short stick on Father’s Day. In May, we’re all buzzing around buying hanging plants, jewelry, and other awesome gifts for our moms. In June, we tend to scramble around looking for a man-type thing to give to our dads using whatever pocket change we have left from vacation. My kids have been programmed to buy dad something that he uses. They usually want to get him a tie (he wears them daily) but this year, they decided to get him a new belt. For several years I’ve been using my trusty Blackberry. At the time, it was glorious to be able to check my email and surf the web. Like any other technology, though, it soon became obsolete. It was difficult to update the apps. Many of the apps I wanted to use were not available. I’ve gone through three batteries and it still wouldn’t stay charged. This month, my husband finally convinced me to get an iPhone. I was very excited about the new phone because we already have so many apps linked on my iTunes account, so it was a breeze to just upload them on my phone. It’s nothing fancy (just the 8 GB) but it’s a huge upgrade for me. After getting my phone set up, the first thing on my to-do list was check Zazzle for a new iPhone cover!
