On My (Sister’s) Bookshelf: The Heiress of Winterwood

My sister-in-law and mother-in-law were visiting when The Heiress of Winterwood arrived.  We all looked at the beautiful cover, which as you know always gets my attention.  My dear sis asked if she could read it and of course I was happy to share!   She said it was an uplifting story against all odds.  There was enough suspense to keep the reader guessing; she didn’t know until the last chapter how the story would end.  The Heiress of Winterwood was a story of  true unconditional love and forgiveness for family, for friends, for oneself and by God.  Ingrained in the story, there’s a thread of God’s faithfulness to those who turn from doubt to faith in Him. The characters are complex and the setting was reminiscent of Pride and Prejudice.   She said she couldn’t put it down, she read it for two days straight!    Ah, I love that gal.  We might not be sisters by birth, but we are sisters at heart.  I’m so glad I was part of this book tour so I could share the book with her!
